Sitting under this tree there is a warmth that is almost heat pouring down on me. As I sit quietly allowing the warmth to wash over me, I feel a peaceful exhilaration in my mind and my heart. When I look at this piece, I see a wonderful energy emanating from it. I want to spend the whole day lounging under this tree :)

I am happy in my heart and feel peaceful throughout my body. I feel this as I imagine myself standing under the tree about where the figure is and I'm looking up and seeing beautiful colors that look like bubbles or balloons. My body wants to stretch up its arms toward the colors, not to touch them, but to reach for them. I feel my body stretching, even yearning toward beauty.

I think it's that same yearning that drives me to make art.....

When I look at this I feel it in my third eye, it feels like it opens it up. I think the tree top and the burst of yellow color are doing it. U feek the swirly things on her dress in my heart. It feels awakening but in a calm and gentle way :)

It makes me feel that this is where heaven meets earth. At first I felt a grounding sensation coming up through my feet, then a showering of energy coming through my head. A very nice feeling indeed. I love your artwork. I find the colors and random subject matter fascinating ♥

When something speaks to me, it becomes art. I don't care if it was meant to be art or not in the first place. I once looked into a trash can and what I saw just spoke to my heart and gave me warm fuzzy feelings.

Intriguing, and I know exactly what you mean... Beauty/art is found anywhere, it's all about us.

The girl in the picture grounds herself in nature. She's alone but not lonely knowing that everything in life is divine and as it should be and, for me, seems to radiate love, hope and inspiration which is infectious. Love this picture...makes me feel positive, peaceful, happy :-)

Yes... My little characters are mostly imbued with a sense of knowing ...probably because knowing is a state of being that I love and seek out so it's good to know that she is sharing hers with you

Energetic abundance, harmony, synthesis. Noticed my heart beating. Woman finally taking rest...conflict stopped. Allowing, accepting, receiving. Being nature.

It's feels very positive. As if she's in a really good and happy place in her life and is enjoying the moment, standing under that beautiful tree with the sunlight on her face.

I didn't have as good a reaction to it as the others did. Her smile seems stretched too thin. Also it is as if she is under a sand clock - you know where the sand is running out. I feel like all those colored circles are about to come crashing down on her. The colors are nice but at the bottom it is as if the color ran out and turned to a drip. I have similar reactions to other water color works where they let it end in drips down the page. I feel like they didn't know how to finish it so they let it just drip. That is a personal preference. My dreams were unsettled last night, so that is probably why I can't see it as dreamy or beautiful.

I love all the responses, it all interests me. It doesn't matter if they are 'negative' or 'positive' I don't take it personally , it's art and we are wonderful humans with such eclectic tastes and responses! I appreciate your emotional reaction. Really interesting!

hat is extremely perspicacious of you Shelli..as i was drawing this one I was intending peace love serenity, and wish fulfilment but at the same time I was contemplating that we only wish for things when we don't have them so there was a kind of acknowledgement of the unfulfilled nature of life!

I was instantly drawn to the colors in this picture...they are beautiful as is your work. I felt warmth, happiness, and joy. The movement is wonderful. Drawings of the circles forming the circular image at the top is brilliant. It makes me feel uplifted. At first glance the first thought that came to my mind was a tree that the girl was relaxing beneath. Yet the more I looked at it something for me clicked. The joy, happiness, and uplifted feeling I first felt made me reliaze that this was a picture defining that beauty is not just on the outside but really does come from within! A small girl whose inner beauty explodes and spreads as you look up. Inner beauty makes people feel joy and uplifted and this girl's is spreading for everyone around her to feel!
